Open Day 2024

We’re thrilled about in the upcoming festivities at The EnPointe Dance Academy! It brings us great joy to invite you, your children, and friends to our Open Day—an event dedicated to the celebration of dance and building a sense of community.

There is no need to register for a class – just turn up, however if you do register for a class and are not a current (attended classes in 2023) Student or Adult Student of EnPointe then you will go into a draw to receive a 50% discount on your first term fees.

If a current student (registered for 2024) of EnPointe has introduced you as a new student to EnPointe and you register for term 1 then you will both received a 25% discount on your term 2 syllabus class fees. Please just note on the registration the student that introduced you. This also applies to Adult students with 25% discount on 1 class per week for term 2.

Event Highlights:

1.Taster Ballet and Contemporary Dance Classes:

Immerse yourself in the world of dance with complimentary 30-minute classes for both children and adults. Explore the elegance of ballet or express yourself through contemporary dance.

Ballet (5 – 18 years):

  • Little Dancers (5 – 7 years old): 1 – 1.30 PM
  • Juniors (8 – 11 years old): 2.15 – 2.45 PM
  • Seniors (12+): 1.30 – 2 PM

What to wear:

For our little dancers, coming in comfortable, easy-to-move clothes is also perfectly fine if the uniform is not preferred.

Juniors and Seniors – Leotard, a short ballet skirt is optional, socks or tights, ballet shoes, and tie your hair back in a ponytail or bun.

Contemporary Dance (8 to 18 years):

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Juniors (8 – 11 years old): 2.45 PM
  • Seniors (Intermediate and over): 2.15 PM

​​​​​​​What to wear:

Bike shorts or tights, Racerback/muscle-back tank, or wide-strapped tank top, socks for the beginning of class. Hair should be tied back.

Adults Ballet (18 plus):

  • Intro Class (no experience needed): 1.30 – 2 PM
  • ​​​​​​​Discovering Repertoire Level 2: 2.45 – 3.15 PM (Requires beginners’ knowledge of ballet)

​​​​​​​Ballet shoes are recommended. No specific attire—wear what makes you feel comfortable.

2.Pre-Loved Dancewear Fair:

Explore our fair for quality pre-loved dancewear, ballet and character shoes at affordable prices and koha. You’re welcome to bring your own dancewear for sale, but will need to manage your own items.

New uniform dancewear will also be available along with limited sizes in ballet shoes.

3.Teachers-Parents Q & A Session:

Have questions about our programs, teaching approach, or your child’s progress? Our dedicated teachers will address your inquiries and offer insights into our curriculum.
