aDvANCE Programme Options

We offer five options for students wishing to participate in our aDvANCE programme – full-time or one of four part-time options.

Full time

This programme is approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, and is open to students who are:

· equivalent to RAD Advanced Foundation level and above, and

· at least 14 years old.

Where applicable, students should continue with their academic study through correspondence school, home schooling or by other arrangements with an academic school. EnPointe can provide supporting letters to any relevant school or organisation.

Part-time

For students who can’t or don’t want to participate in a full-time programme, we offer several part-time alternatives.

aDvANCE (1 day)

This programme is held on Sundays, and is split into two levels:

· Level 1 is open to students equivalent to RAD Intermediate Foundation to Advanced Foundation and is approximately 3 to 4 hours.

· Level 2 is open to students equivalent to RAD Advanced Foundation and above and is approximately 5 to 6 hours.

Those students who are equivalent to Advanced Foundation will be assessed as to the right level for them, which could be a combination of level 1 classical and level 2 contemporary for example.

aDvANCE (2 days)

Immerse into the full-time programme for two days per week (Sunday and Monday). This option is open to students who are equivalent to RAD Advanced Foundation level and above and is approximately 10 to 12 hours per week.

Students will be required to obtain permission to have the Monday off school – EnPointe can provide supporting letters if required.

aDvANCE (3 days)

This programme is for students who are looking to specialise in a genre and consists of the two-day part-time programme with an additional full day in either Contemporary or Classical training.

Students will be required to obtain permission to have the relevant day/days off school – EnPointe can provide supporting letters if required.

aDvANCE Outreach

This programme is for students who are outside the Wellington region and are unable to travel each week to the programme. It consists of two or three Sundays each block immersing into the one-day programme.

In addition, outreach students can also attend open classes on a Saturday afternoon (Stretch and Strengthen, Pre-pointe or Pointe and Open Technique).
